Condenser

The condenser is a heat exchanger that sits in the front of the vehicle (generally) and has the purpose of dissipating the heat absorbed from the cabin into the outside air.

Condenser efficiency is affected by factors such as its age and state of cleanliness, and also the rate of air movement through the fins. Condenser failure is common, as the condenser sits at the front of the car are takes the impact of debris from the road or collisions.
